Tortillas
Tortillas are something I have seen my own grandmother and mother make a million times but never so delicately as by the hands of Courtney from La Reinita. For this short commercial, I wanted to bring the romance to the process of making these deliciosas tortillas.
Empanadas
To honor her heritage in Mexican and Colombian cuisine, Courtney Morentin founded La Reinita, a Pacific Northwest bakery. Using local whole grain ingredients and naturally leavened dough, she teases her process with authentic craft and cheer ~ a pinch of flour, a little sunlight, and a bit of dancing, make magic and celebrate her roots.
In Spanish, "La Reinita" translates as "The Little Queen".
